October is National Dental Hygiene Month and this year, more than ever, is a time for all of us to recognize the critical role Aspen Dental hygienists have played during these challenging times.

In our new “normal,” hygienists have stepped up big-time on the frontlines. Donning PPE and with a smile under their mask, they’ve reassured patients -- concerned about their safety -- who returned to Aspen practices; educated thousands of people on the critical relationship between oral health and systemic health; explained the need for periodontal treatment to non-compliant and often symptom-free patients; and provided preventive services and performed periodontal therapy for tens of thousands of patients every day across Aspen Nation.  

As if that isn’t enough for a full day at the office, Aspen hygienists not only provide quality clinical care for their patients, they also act as leaders in the office and partner with Doctors to provide memorable patient experiences.
