His smile transformation has taken some time as his first attempt – resulting in wasted time and money following a partial denture and limited extractions with a local dentist in 2011 – failed to satisfy his needs.

Danny has been chasing a healthy mouth for years, but now, thanks to a post he made on the Aspen Dental Facebook wall thanking Dr. Maharshi Desai, DDS and his team for their efforts, the only chasing he will be doing will be for a NASCAR Sprint Cup championship with Aspen Dental driver Ryan Newman. Aspen Dental and Stewart-Haas Racing will showcase Danny's story as they feature his photo on Newman's No. 39 Chevrolet SS during the Sylvania 300 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon Sunday. Heading into the second race of the 10-race Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup, Newman currently sits eighth in the point standings.
"I'm used to going fast, but to think that my smile will be traveling at upwards of 135 mph this weekend is surreal. Aspen Dental has really gone above and beyond for me in all aspects," Danny said.
